Crying for oxygen
Dying without oxygen
Here comes the virus
With a structure that is more serious.
Its name is the same,
But has mutated its strain,
Brought in more tears and inevitable pain.
The pain which millions are going through,
Sometimes, in the streets or homes, and a few are in the ICU
We are standing in the queue,
But oxygen is accessible only to a few.
The government is trying,
But people have no time
Struggling on ventilators, for their precious lives
Some are rich, many are poor, all are in the clasp of the virus, which takes no permission to enter the body of the human.
We are caged again in our homes,
Witnessing the situation which once was felt by the people of Italy and its capital Rome.
This shall also pass soon,
But we don’t know whether it will be over, by the end of May or June!!
Here I am, urging the world, to send us the light of healing and unconditional love.
What I believe, that the people of my country India, not only need oxygen, but also the vibrations of prayers and thoughts of optimism.
Namaste 🙏

So true Sushmita and beautifully written.
Prayers only can help. Our government has failed us completely 😌

Power spares none! We will have a separate discussion on the same once the situation in India gets better. As my views are a bit different from others.

My views too are in minority
Power corrupts. Absolute power corrupts absolutely

The Union Government is trying its best to save the lives of people. We must accept the fact that we are suffering because of our own irresponsible behaviors, can’t evade the truth.
People didn’t follow the SOP until the situation turned out to be grave.
Blaming isn’t the solution, taking personal responsibility is!
Let’s pray and hope for the betterment of the situation.

I agree we must take responsibility and personal care.
Individuals can’t plan for Oxygen and Vaccine Sushmita.
But our government has utterly failed this time and it is obvious. They should have prepared earlier, even before elections, if elections were a must!
Today Madras High court has said election commission officers should be tried for murder. The court can’t say this to the PM who tweeted about biggest crowds in WB.
What about Kumbh?
Yes Pray is the way and taking personal responsibility.

Nobody knew that this virus will mutate into such a fatal structure, wherein people will face such serious issue of breathlessness.
Before the elections, things were under control. Towards the end of the WB election, the situation got worsen, I agree political parties were busy securing their power, but the oxygen crisis was absolutely unprecedented.
Now the Govt of Delhi is cribbing whereas it had planned to set up 8 plants, out of which only one plant have been installed so far
People criticizing Govt. for not using PM CARES fund, will never appreciate the reality that 551 more Oxygen Plants will now be set up in all the districts of India by using this fund.
India has a daily production capacity of at least 7,100 tonnes of oxygen.
Earlier this week, the Government allocated 6,822 tonnes of liquid oxygen per day to 20 of the country’s worst-affected states, compared to their combined demand of 6,785 tonnes.
There is so much additional information on what and how Govt. is trying to manage the situation.
Regarding the Kumbh, people should have stopped themselves from attending the holy dip.
Things have gone out of control now, and thankfully due to our good international relations with other countries, we are being supported, and receiving all the requisite help&asisatance.
I know we will come out of it, at least we can control it at an individual level.
Let’s look at the positives instead of counting on the negatives.
Positive things give us the ray of hope, negatives have the potential to strain our energies in criticism and cultivating hate.

Thank you for your kind words 😊🙏 but seems like Indians are keen to invite and welcome the next wave. I’m still unable to figure out how America has opened up to this extent?!!
Have the schools and offices reopened there?
